More About Kelly King Joyce
Kelly practices in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation. She defends clients in misdemeanor and felony cases throughout Missouri. Kelly was raised in St. Louis and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri—Columbia in 2013. She began her legal career as a litigation paralegal before attending Colorado School of Law.
During law school, Kelly served as a guest teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools, taught high school civics and coached Colorado’s national high school moot court team with the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.
Before returning to Missouri, Kelly trained with the Colorado Law Criminal Defense Clinic where she represented both individuals and corporations in criminal and appellate cases in Boulder, Colorado.
In addition to her litigation practice, Kelly defends clients in a wide-variety of matters attendant to criminal cases. She advocates for clients in criminal investigations, protective orders, university disciplinary actions, and Title IX proceedings.
Kelly is licensed to practice in Missouri and Colorado and utilizes a multi-faceted approach in representing her clients with a focus on individualized representation tailored to her clients specific needs. She currently resides in Columbia, Missouri.
